The students are coming...the students are coming!

Hey Friends,

WOW, this has been a super crazy few weeks. Crazy, but awesome!! I have had a ton of fun bonding and getting to know our disciple group leaders this week. I love our team!!! We have spent time this week preparing for the arrival of our students next week. We have learned about grace, forgiveness, and restitution, not to mention discipline, leadership, and encouragement. We are ready and anticipating an amazing summer of ministry.

As for me personally, it has been interesting juggling all of my roles here. I am grateful that I have such a great team here that have helped me so much!! I am learning a ton as we go and I am really excited to get another crack at everything next year with all this experience under my belt.

A few highlights so far. First, having my 2 girls here and seeing them grow as they learn what it means to be a leader for their team (they are going to Romania). Also, hearing the song that Tara wrote for me (she sang it in front of her whole team). A really fun time was a dance off that I competed in with one of the leaders from the Romania team. We were bragging earlier in the week about how good of a wedding dancer each one of us is. At the dinner on Tuesday night, we were asked to prove it. In my humble opinion, we rocked it. So, I think we are going to have a challenge for our dance off titles. I think some of the videos from that night are going to end on youtube.

Anyway, I will try to write more before I am outta here for China. Here are my prayer requests:

That I would be able to hear the voice of God and ignore the lies of the enemy.
That our students would make it to Training Camp safely.
For continued unity and fellowship within all our leadership teams.
That the evil, bloodsucking, venomous, demon possessed gnats and flies would all die!!!!
That the glory of God would be revealed on the hayfield!!
