Nepal Update 6

Hello Friends,

Well, we arrived safely in Pokhara on Thursday afternoon. It was an interesting bus ride for me. I choose to take some Dramamine to assist with my motion sickness issues. The good news...I didn't get very motion sick...the bad news...I wasn't very "with it" for most of the day. I don't know why, but that stuff just knocks me out or makes me a little mentally challenged (or a combination of both as the case was!).

A question that my team hear asks me pretty often is, "how does Nepal compare to China?" So, I thought I would share just a couple of things with you.

1. China is a little cleaner than Nepal.
2. Nepali's in general speak much better english (so, not as much laughing at the funny signs).
3. In China I really was excited to see a water buffalo up close. In Nepal, I am trying to not walk too close behind them so they don't pee on me.

A couple things to be praying for...
- We are working through some issues with a few students. Please pray for wisdom and discernment.
- Tomorrow Dave will be heading to Kathmandu to get his wife, Vicky, from the airport and will be rejoining the team on Monday night. Please pray for safe travels for them. Also, please pray for me during that time because I will be leading the team for those 2 days of ministry.

Well, that's all for now. Much love!
Mags
