Hello Friends!
What a fun week I had last week! Last week was Reign Staff Conference Week. I had the best time getting to know everyone better and getting to spend some much needed quiet time with the Lord. It was fantastic!
I rented a car (my car just wasn't going to make it) and drove the 6 hours to Minneapolis. What a great drive. It was a beautiful day (Sat Sept 23rd) and the fall colors are starting to show. Saturday evening we had an intimate new staff dinner. I was very excited to see everyone again. I hadn't seen anyone since the begining of July. Sunday we met at the office, had a brief meeting, and headed up to Camp Lebanon.
The week was spent having teaching times together, ministry updates, group prayer and worship, hang out and play time, and quiet time. Oh yah...and lots and lots of snacking. Actually there was a whole room of snacks that I dubbed the "Fat Room". I got to learn a lot about the other divisions and ministries at Reign. We had a open forum about Support Raising where everyone shared their experience and expertise (I picked up some good ideas!!). There was really awesome teaching on intentional discipleship, leadership, and a good refresher on Reign's vision and mission. Also, some exciting updates on the new land!
I think what I enjoyed the most though, was the relationships and friendships that were formed. Reign is so family oriented. Is was so good for this single female to see first hand family being done right. To watch the interaction of the parents and their children gave me hope that maybe someday I would want to be a mom and have a family. Also, they are family with eachother. Not everyone always agrees, but it's ok because at the end of the day (or meeting) they still love eachother. Everyone embraced me and is excited about having me as part of the family. As much as I will miss my family here (and I will, so everyone must visit all the time) I am eager to be with this new family.
Praise God for what He is doing in my life. This is truly an awesome adventure! Thank you for being apart of this with me.
Love and God Bless!

Also, huge thank you to Kacie for flying to Minnesota on Friday to drive home with me on Sunday. Thanks to Betty for brining her to Midway for her flight. And thanks to Kacie's dad for paying $35 for a haircut so she could pay for the rest of the ticket.
