Passport, Immunizations, and Prayer Cards

Hey Everyone!!

So, Friday is the big day. I leave for Training Camp at 5:30am...Ouch!! At the moment, I am still not packed, in fact I have to go out tonight to purchase the rest of my supplies. The good news is that I got some major things taken care of.

Last Friday, after a really rather annoying ordeal with the exceptions division of the passport agency and a $60 expedited fee later, I finally received my passport. Of course my picture is the worst picture in the world (that's what I get for getting it taken on my way into work, I still look asleep)!! But I have it in hand and ready for it's first stamp...to CHINA!!!!

I have my immunizations scheduled for the end of next week while in Peoria, IL. For those of you who have ever seen me get a flu vaccination, you should know how happy I am to get not one, but 2 vaccinations. It's not that I don't like needles, I just don't like pain. I think there's a difference. Either way, I will be able to be worry free from some preventable diseases!

Hopefully you will be getting my latest newsletter in the mail soon with my summer prayer card. They are the first prayer cards that I have done, but I am pretty happy with them. If you aren't sure if you are on my mailing list but would like to be, just send me an email with your address and I will be happy to shoot one in the mail to you.

Otherwise...I am mostly ready. Whatever I am, I certainly am excited! More to come soon!!!

Hugs!
Mags
