CHINA 11

Hello Friends,
Well, tomorrow we leave for Beijing. It is going to be an interesting transition. Our team leader, Tom, had to go home today to be with his family as his mother-in-law is very ill. Although we will miss him greatly, we are thanking the Father for the leadership team he put in place. There are 3 other leaders on this team and we are all RS staff. The women taking over the Team Leader position, is extermely capable and easy to follow. I am looking forward to seeing what the Father has in store for us for this last week.
Unfortunately the Father has decided to let the cold that started yesterday run it's course in me. Although it is not preventing me from actively engaging in our team, it is not very comfortable. I am glad that even though tomorrow will bring a lot of moments of stress and high pressure moments (gotta love international travel) it will provide an opportunity to get some much needed rest on the train. Hopefully, by the time we arrive at our destination the cold will be gone.
Overall, the m*n*stry at this school has been hard, but it has been good. It was a very good and realistic look for our whole team on what m*ss**ns really is like. At the end of the week, our students had significant conversations with 22 people for the Father. On average it takes Chinese people to have 5-6 significant encounters before they are ready to accept the Father into their lives. Now, 22 people are one step closer!
On a personal note, the Father has allowed me to pour into several of the girls on this team. I am so grateful, that the Father will use our lives, both our mistakes and our successes, to help others know him more and more intimately. At this point I have 2 conversations with a couple of our girls scheduled for our train ride and for when we are in Beijing. Please yarp for me that I will say exactly what I should and not say what I shouldn't and that through it all the honor would go to the Father. I imagine that as this next week gets going, there will be a lot more conversations that will come up. I am both humbled and excited about the opportunity to serve with the passion that the Father has given me for these young women to know Him and the truth He brings our lives.
I may have another opportunity to write next week. If I don't, I will try to send one when I return. Thank you all for taking this journey with me. It has been a bl*ss*ng to share it with you!!!
Hugs and Love!

P.S. I did another teaching today, and it went really well! He is GOOD!!!
